The LCM scientific community wishes to express our support for the people of Ukraine and for Russian citizens opposing the unjustified invasion of Ukraine ordered by their President. We emphasize our commitment to international collaboration and communication as foundational to research. We therefore welcome participation in the 9th International Conference on Language, Culture and Mind by scholars from both Russia and Ukraine. We stand behind the statement from the University of Almería and Crue Universidades Españolas, together with COSCE and Facme, lending support to the people of Ukraine and its scientific community. We consider the aggression an attack on the values of freedom and democracy, and on the foundations of freedom in research and opportunities for international academic cooperation.
